The history of Hübner Componentes e Sistemas Automotivos – Mechanical Industry follows the history of the Hübner Group up to 1999, when other plants started to be part of the Group. The company was founded in the year of 1980 in Curitiba, Paraná, with the foundation of Hübner Mecânica. The small plant, that acted in the metal–mechanic area, was gradually conquering the market. In 1987 the company changed its headquarters to Cidade Industrial de Curitiba (the Industrial Park of Curitiba), in an approximately 7,000 square–meters plant, and changed its name to Hübner Componentes e Sistemas Automotivos – Mechanical Industry. At that time, the company was a parts supplier to various OEM Manufacturers and its partners in all country, such as Volvo, Volkswagen, General Motors, TRW, New Holland and Cummins. Since then, the company has been in a constant growth.

In 1990, the Hübner Componentes e Sistemas Automotivos – Mechanical Industry launched the brand AUTOLINEA for the auto–parts aftermarket. Currently, AutoLinea sells Engine Blocks, Cylinder Heads, manufactured by Hübner Componentes e Sistemas Automotivos – Mechanical Industry.

By the end of 2001, Hübner Componentes e Sistemas Automotivos – Mechanical Industry moved to the city of Araucária, Paraná, in a 9,000 square–meters plant, equipped with the high–end industrial technology.
